You need to balance your tires every other time you rotate your tires. This helps extend the life of your tires.  Also check the tire pressure frequently more than just at oil changes if you can.

A puncture from nails or other debris on the road is the most common way you can get a flat tire. And in a lot of cases, a puncture can be corrected without a replacement.   This just depends on where the puncture is and how many times it has happened.

Look at the tread life warranty in correlation to the price of the tire. All tires have a tread life and the quality and value of them differ.

Honestly, it is a personal preference and depends on your driving style and habits. However, I would say that there is a reason they make snow tires because they do handle in the snow and ice better than others.

You need to Cross the non-drive wheels or the All wheel drive vehicles, you cross them. However, every owner’s manual will tell you how to rotate the tires for the vehicle.

With a tire depth gage (we have a digital one or the regular style) a new tire reads 12 to 13 30 seconds of tread.  You need to replace tires when it’s at 2 – 3 30 seconds of the tread or when the tire wear is at the wear bar.  Every tire has a wear bar on it.

When evaluating the uneven wear on the tire, look at the edges to see if there is wear/rounding on there and cupping on the tile.  See photo as an example.
